On 10-20 September 2016 the Cukunft Jewish Association and Józef Weininger, the President of the Jewish Community in Łódź, distributed gifts obtained thanks to efforts of Aleksandra Wilczura (Cukunft) for Jewish children from large families and single parents who spend their free time in the Jewish Day Care led by the Jewish Community of Łódź.
Aleksandra Wilczura received the generous support for needy Jewish families as a part of the “Zostań Społecznym Siłaczem – Become a Social Strongman” Social Action www.silaczespoleczni.org and EEA and Norwegian Funds for institutions taking care of people in need, endangered inequality and social exclusion. Thanks to Aleksandra Wilczura and Cukunft Jewish Association‘s several months of intensive efforts the Jewish children received backpacks and satchels taking care about their health backs, sports shoes and clothes for the youngest Jewish trainees football and volleyball and lots of school supplies that received not only children, but also Matanel Jewish Kindergarten in Łódź led by rebetzin Maria Szychowska.
