Tzedakah Day – Mitzvah Day in Wroclaw, implemented for several years by the Cukunft Jewish Association, has been nominated for the International Mitzvah Day Awards 2017 in the “Outstanding Mitzvah Day Outside the UK” category.
At the finalists’ gala, which took place on January 31, 2018 at JW Community Center, 341-351 Finchley Rd in London, the Finalist’s Award for Cukunft was received by Chava Pacułt and Aleksandra Wilczura as project coordinators in Poland and the UK, who have been part of Cukunft’s tzedakah & mitzvah day team together with Jan Kirschenbaum, Joanna Grudzinska and Marcin Szternberg from the very beginning.
